El Sharq
El Sharq (Arabic: الشرق) is an Egyptian opposition TV channel owned by Ayman Nour and is based in Istanbul, Turkey.[1][2][3]

History
El Sharq channel launched on April 25, 2014, and started with the slogan “Truth and Hope”. Its board of directors was chaired by Bassem Khafaji, the President of the National Political Academy. Then its ownership was transferred to Ayman Nour, the leader of the El-Ghad Party, in August 2015.
