EFS Facilities Services Group LLC is a UAE based facilities management company with branches in 21 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Turkey.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
The company is headquartered in Dubai and functions as a facilities management company. They oversee over 52 million sq. m. in the region with over 500+ contracts and 28 companies.[7][8][9]
History
EFS was initially setup in 2006 as EFS Facilities Services Group in Dubai, UAE.[10][5][11]
After the appointment of Tariq Chauhan as the CEO of the company in 2009, the company grew and they crossed AED 4.28 billion in contract backlog.[12][13][14][5]
- In the year 2011, EFS ventured into Egypt and North Africa with the implementation of its Oracle ERP platform.
- In 2012, the company ventured into 65 Indian cities following the acquisition of Dalkia India. In the same year, EFS opened in Lebanon with the introduction of FM Lebanon.[3][15][4][10]
- By 2014, EFS had extended its operational reach into Nigeria, Morocco, and Tunisia. EFS started operations in Turkey and Sri Lanka in 2015, during which the company's contract backlog soared to over AED 3 billion.[16][17][18]
- In 2016, EFS secured a TFM contract with Schlumberger, an oilfield service company, in the UAE and Bahrain.[19][20][21]
- In 2018, EFS won a contract with Etihad, handling integrated facilities management across the UAE.
- In the yesr 2019, EFS acquired EXPO 2020 Integrated Facilities Management contract. EFS forged alliance with Dawamee, an initiative orchestrated by the Emirates Foundation.[22][23]
