Early life

Suchý became interested in bobsleigh after being introduced to said sport by his parents,[2] stating that he was inspired by the film Coconuts In The Snow.[3] He initially wanted to be military pilot, but switched to bobsleigh because he did not have time to complete pilot tests.[3]

Career

Suchý competed at the 2010, 2014, and 2018 Winter Olympics, where he was a member of the four-man bobsleigh team, ranked 12th[4] and 16th respectively.[5] In the latter tournament, Suchý teamed up with Dominik Dvořák, Jan Vrba, and Michal Vacek.[6]

At the World and European Championships, he took the best sixth place during the former tournament, again in the four-man bobsleigh. Suchý won the North American Cup race four times, three times and once each, respectively in the four-man and two-man categories.
