Darshan Puttannaiah

Darshan Puttannaiah is an Indian politician who has been serving as a Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly from the Melukote Assembly constituency since 2023 being associated with the Sarvodaya Karnataka Party.[1][2][3] He is the president of Sarvodaya Karnataka Party after its renewal. He is the only son of K. S. Puttannaiah.

He has been supported by the Indian National Congress.[4][5]

He had fought 2018 Karnataka Legislative Assembly election from the Melukote Assembly constituency over the Yogendra Yadav's Swaraj Abhiyan ticket but lost.[6]

Early life and education

Darshan Puttannaiah was born to K. S. Puttannaiah and Suneetha Puttannaiah in Mandya district of Karnataka.[7]

He completed his Bachelor of Technology from the Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering Mysore in the year 2001.
