Cynometra browneoides
Cynometra browneoides is a flowering plant in the pea family (Fabaceae).[1] Common names includes handkerchief tree and pokok sapu tangan.[2] It is a tree native to New Guinea. It has been introduced to Java and Sumatra.[1]

It can grow from 5 m to 15 m.[2] The stem is straight, round, brown and sympodial. Its leaf is green, pinnate, elongate with smooth margin, and pointed at both ends,[3] with dimension of 7โ14 cm long, 3โ8 cm wide with 1โ1,5 cm long petiole.[3] Its root develops from the radicle and is brownish white.[3] The leaves, fruits, and bark of this plant contains saponin, flavonoid, dan polyphenol.[3]
