History
In 1998, Chakkilam Infotech Ltd., an IT and software services company was founded by C V Subramanyam. Cigniti Inc. was bought by the company in September 2011. In 2012, the company signed a multi-year contract with one of the world's top robotics and toy manufacturers.[6]
The organization entered into a long-term agreement with a Hospitality Industry Performance Management and Business Intelligence Solution Provider. In May 2013, the company acquired US based testing company Gallop Solutions Inc.. Cigniti Technologies Inc. was formed in 2016 by the merger of two completely owned subsidiary companies, Cigniti Inc. USA and Gallop Solutions Inc. USA.[7]
In 2014, the company increased its operations in the United Kingdom by opening an office in London. The organisation was rated at Level 5 of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) by the CMMI Institute in 2015.[8]
In 2021, opened an office in the Czech Republic.[9]
In the year 2022, the company introduced its 360-degree Digital CX monitoring platform, using AI-driven sentiment analysis.[10]
Cigniti paid $4.8 million to buy Aparaa Digital (RoundSqr), a specialised and veteran-led AI/ML, Data, and Blockchain Engineering services company and expanded into Digital Engineering services.[11]
In January 2023, Cigniti entered into a partnership agreement with Lambda Test, a continuous quality testing cloud platform.[12]
Philanthropy
In March 2023, Cigniti donated medical equipments to The MNJ Institute of Oncology Regional Cancer Center, Hyderabad.[13]
In June 2023, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology and Cigniti entered into a memorandum of understanging to launch a training programme for IT students.[14]
