The first teaser trailer of The Bremen Town Musicians was released on September 13, 2023.
The video caused a mostly negative reaction from viewers: many noted the repulsive images of animals, which had an “uncanny valley” effect and were reminiscent of characters from the film Cats (2019 film). Viewers also jokingly called the film an adaptation of the video game Hotline Miami (2012).
