Brandon Yosha

Brandon Yosha (born May 26, 1993) is an American trial lawyer and former American Football running back for the Miami Hurricanes and Lehigh University Mountain Hawks.

High school years

In his Junior year at Cathedral High School, Yosha was ranked as the No. 7 running back in the nation, according to Rivals.com.[1] When he suffered a right knee ACL tear, it resulted in him missing the rest of the season. Despite his injury,[2] he committed to play Division 1 American Football at the University of Miami.

College years

In college, Yosha started his football career at the University of Miami in the|2012 season]],[3] where he played as a running back and on special teams. He earned his first letter during his freshman year, contributing to the team with his performances against Kansas State and NC State.[4]

While playing as starting tailback for the Mountain Hawks, Yosha suffered a lateral meniscus tear against Yale,[5] which ended his season. Despite the setback, he managed to achieve 60 carries for 318 yards and 4 touchdowns, along with 23 yards receiving.[6]

Due to multiple knee injuries, Yosha stepped away from football and pursued a career in law. He moved back to his hometown of Indianapolis and enrolled at Indiana University.[7]

Professional career

Since graduating from Law School, Yosha became a junior partner at Yosha, Cook & Tisch – Personal Injury Lawyer, his father's established law firm in 2020.[8][9] He has seen success early on in his legal career, receiving recognition for his role in securing a $20 million verdict against Indianapolis Power & Light Co.[10] where he performed the opening statement, final argument, and direct examination.[11]
