Battle of Mokvi
The Battle of Mokvi Monastery was a military battle between the Democratic Republic of Georgia and the Ottoman Empire during Sochi conflict.

Battle
At the beginning of August, another Ottoman landing force of about 1000 men was sent to Abkhazia. On August 16, the Ottoman landing force attacked a small 60-member People's Guard detachment near the Mokvi Monastery, which repelled the attack.[1][2]
