Battle of Gali
The Battle of Gali occurred in 1992 from August 14 to August 15. It was a part of the War in Abkhazia (1992-1993).

Battle
The battle of Gali took place in War in Abkhazia (1992-1993). Georgians entered Gali by the permission of general Giorgi Karkarashvili. They entered Gali with only 1000 troops. The Abkhazians had 1400 soldiers ready for the battle. The battle began and ended in one day. Georgians managed to win the battle and took Gali. After the battle Abkhazians retreated to Ochamchire.
