Details

Rubinska was a 27-year-old Polish woman who had moved to Greece to work as a waitress during the summer. She went missing on 12 June 2023.[4][5][6]

Surveillance footage revealed that the last person seen with her was a 32-year-old Bangladeshi man.[4][5][6][7] Rubinska's body was discovered 1 kilometre away from the suspect's residence.[5] DNA evidence found at the suspect's home reportedly matches Rubinska's DNA, further implicating him in the crime.[8]

Reactions

Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki suggested that the suspected killer should be extradited, so he can be tried in Poland.[7][6][9]
