Agha Iqrar Haroon

Agha Iqrar Haroon (Urdu: آغا اقرار ہارون (Russian: Ага АКрар Харун ; born August 16, 1965) is a Pakistani research journalist and political analyst. founder of Dispatch News Desk and author of a book “How does Superclass Rule Nations? —A Case Study from Pakistan” His latest book "How does Superclass Rule the Nations? --- A Case Study from Pakistan" discusses that the superclass applies classical techniques to manipulate events, to create new heroes, to humiliate real heroes, and to impose state narratives in a way that the people accept without resistance.

He started his career in 1988. Since then, he has worked for ETN News agency Islamabad, Al-Jazeera Television Islamabad, Abdu Dubai Television Islamabad, Chief Control News Waqt Television Lahore, Geo News Lahore. He appears as a regional expert on Pakistan's television channels, including state-run television PTV News. Haroon worked with different media houses such as Nawa - i - Waqt Group, Al-Jazeera Television Channel in Pakistan, Abu Dhabi TV, Waqt TV, GEO News, and Abb Takk. He is currently a Foreign Affairs expert at state-run television PTV News and Chief Editor of Dispatch News Desk News Agency. He is an international Award-winning journalist as he had been given the "Award of Excellence" by the Azerbaijan government.

Haroon is a Research Scholar of Eurasian Studies and has taught in Central Asia and South Asia.[1] He has written a number of research papers about development in Eurasia.

Haroon won an International Award for his journalistic work in Central Asia.[2], and the Award of Excellence from the Kazakhstan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.[3]
