The reservoir is part of Tallinn water supply system and is connected to Jägala, Pirita and Soodla rivers via canals.
The area of the reservoir is 19.9 ha (49 acres), average depth is 1.6 m (5 ft 3 in) and its maximum depth is 4.0 m (13.1 ft).[1]
History
The construction of the reservoir took place between 1980 and 1983.[2]
