Super 8s
The allocation of seeded teams to the two Super 8 groups will be determined before the start of the tournament and does not depend on Group stage placings. Teams will be allocated to Super 8 groups regardless of whether they finish first or second in the initial stage. If a seeded team finishes outside the top two positions in their initial group, the non-seeded team that advances in their place will inherit the position the seeded team would have had.
This stage will be played as a single round-robin, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the semi-finals.
