The romance category of plays contains four plays:

  1. Pericles, Prince of Tyre
  2. The Winter's Tale
  3. The Tempest
  4. Cymbeline

They were all written late in Shakespeare's career.

The Two Noble Kinsmen, of which Shakespeare was co-author, is sometimes included in this grouping.
