General Contraindications:
- Qi & Yin deficiency causing excessive sweating
General Caution:
- Yin deficiency syndrome
- Blood deficiency
- chronic skin infection
- Bo He - disperses Wind-Heat, promotes expression of rashes, sweat-inducing (1)
- Niu Bang Zi - disperses Wind-Heat, promotes expression of rashes, sweat-inducing (2)
- Chan Tui - disperses Wind-Heat, promotes expression of rashes, sweat-inducing (3)
- Sang Ye - disperses Wind-Heat and clears Liver Fire, stronger dispersing
- Ju Hua - disperses Wind-Heat and clears Liver Fire, stronger clear Liver Fire, clear vision
- Mu Zei - clears vision, removes membrane causing visual obstructions
- Dan Dou Chi - mildly vents and disperses exterior pathogens at any level, relieves constraint
- Ge Gen - releases exterior & raises Yang Qi, disperses heat Yang Ming muscle level, promotes expression of rash (w/ Sheng Ma)
- Chai Hu - releases exterior & raises Yang Qi, most effective in reducing fever, intermitent chills & fever, raises Yang (with Sheng Ma)
- Sheng Ma - releases exterior & raises Yang Qi, effective raises Yang action, relieves Heat Toxicity, promotes expression of rash (with Ge Gen), raises Yang (with Chai Hu)
