The largest and deadly tsunami in Indonesia occurred in the Aceh region, in the northern tip of Sumatra Island. Ten thousands of people died due to this deadly tsunami. The tsunami with wave up to 30 m was triggered by submarine earthquake and possible submarine landslide.
