DANTES Subject Standardized Tests
Books in this subject area deal with the DANTES Subject Standardized Tests. These are credit-by-examination tests designed to allow a student to demonstrate proficiency in an area of study normally taught at a college or university. They are frequently used in conjunction with College Level Examination Program (CLEP) tests by students pursuing college degrees in non-traditional situations. Whereas CLEP tests are almost exclusively used for lower level credit, DANTES Subject Standardized Tests are available for both upper and lower level credit.
