Prussian uses the Latin alphabet. It also has a few special characters. These are ā, ē, ī, ū, and š. These can be found on the Latvian keyboard, but one can also use â, ê, î, û, and sh on the French keyboard.

ā, ē, ī, and ū are stressed and held longer than their normal counterparts when alone

š says sh

aī says aye like the german eins

ai and eī say ay like play

j says y

w says v in german derived words

au āu and aū say ow like cow

p in german derived words like šērpi, girappi, and oppisan sounds like f

c says z or ts
