This wikibook was started in 6 July 2005, pretending to be a comprehensive grammar of Portuguese language for foreign people, a reference for advanced and even basic learners.
It is divided in two main parts. The first part, Alphabet & Phonology and Basic grammar intends to provide an objective text about standart Portuguese. The second part, Advanced grammar, More on History contains information on the usage of the language, and some pecularities of Portuguese. Variations, finally, redisscuss all the book under the perspective of the regional speakings.
This wikibook is strongly based in the Brazilian Gramática Normativa da Língua Portuguesa by Prof. Carlos Henrique da Rocha Lima.
