SCRIPTURES FOR THE FATHER AND THE SON’S RELATIONSHIP
The purpose of these studies is not to demean the honour and glory that is due to the Son but to exalt and elevate the Most High God to His rightful position of being all in all, to His creatures.
“For He (God) has put all things under His (Yeshua’s) feet. But when He says all things are put under Him, it is manifest that He (God) is excepted, which did put all things under Him. And when all things shall be subdued unto Him (Yeshua), then shall the Son also himself be subject unto Him (God) that put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.” 1 Corinthians 15:27, 28.
The scriptures follow a pattern of giving the terminology of “Lord” to Yeshua the Son and God, to the Father.
The translation from the Greek texts in the King James Version has confused this by using “LORD" for YHWH in the original text. So whenever “LORD" is in capitals as such, it is meant to be YHWH.
Where it is “Lord", it is Adonai in the Hebrew, which is translated correctly as Lord in English.
Hebrew word “Adonai”, is a conjunction of the plural form of the word “Adon” and the suffix “ai”, means “my” “Adon” means: lord, master, owner, chief, husband, king, governor, ruler.
A king has lords to assist in the government of his kingdom.. In this case our King has only One Lord, Yeshua our Messiah. He will become King of kings and Lord of lords in this age until the establishment of the new heaven and the new earth. Yeshua is our Lord, however His Father is the King who rules the universe. Our Lord will always sit at the right hand of the Most High God, both His Father and ours.
He “has gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God” (1 Peter 3:22) The expression “right hand” is a Jewish expression describing delegated authority and representation and it ought not to be understood as a geographical location.

Have a look at the letters to the believers, how they give the titles “God” and “Lord”.
Almost all of Paul's letters start off with "from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ".
“Grace be to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” Romans 1:7 “Grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” I Corinthians 1:3 “Grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” 2 Corinthians 1:2 “Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ” Galatians 1:2 “Grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” Ephesians 1:2 “Grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” Philippians 1:2 “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”. Colosians 1:1,2 “To the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” 1 & 2 Thessalonians 1:1 “Grace to you and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” .I Thessalonians 1:1 “Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ”......2 Thessalonians 1:1,2 “Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Jesus Christ our Lord” I Timothy 1:2 “Grace, mercy, peace from God the Father and Jesus Christ our Lord” 2 Timothy 1:2 “Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Saviour” Titus 1:4 “Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ” Philemon 3
The other apostles write similarly:
“God........has.......spoken to us......in His Son”. Hebrews 1:1,2
"You are my Son; this day I have begotten you. And again, I will be to him a Father and he shall be to me a Son." Hebrew 1:5
“James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ" James 1:1
‘What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the Most High God?” Mark 5:6-8
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus" 1 Peter 1:3
“We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” Colossians 1:3
“that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 15:6
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him.” Ephesians 1:17
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3.
“Grace, mercy, peace shall be with us from God the Father and from Jesus Christ the Son of the Father in truth and love” 2 John 1:3
“Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father ....
"I am ascending to My Father, and to My God and your God.” John 20:17.
By His own confession God is His Father even after His resurrection and again even after His ascension, the Father is still said to be the Father of our “Lord Jesus Christ”
“But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ is God.” 1 Corinthians 11:2.
“Grace to you and peace be multiplied in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord” 2 Peter 1:2
“our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ” I John 1:3
“And this is life eternal, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John 17:3
“One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” Ephesians 4:6.
Our fellowship is with both the Father and with the Son, but not with a third member of a ‘trinity‘
“Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Saviour” Titus 1:4
“Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ, by the commandment of God our Saviour and the Lord Jesus Christ, our hope” I Timothy 1:2
Note here and in Jude it is “God our Saviour”
“to the only God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Jude 24
Note here that it is to the ONLY God...through Jesus Christ our Lord. God is our Saviour through Yeshua.
Yahweh, the Most High God is supreme over all and it is to Him that we pray, as Yeshua taught us, “Our Father, in heaven, Hallowed be your Name (Yahweh); Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven ...” Matthew 6:9-10 It is the Father’s will that is being done on earth through His Son. This is borne out in all the Messianic writings
“Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God” Colosians 1:1,2
"According to the will of God and our Father.” Galatians 1:4.
“heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ" Romans 8:14-29
Our inheritance is from God the Father which we share in and with Yeshua our Messiah through His atoning and mediatorial work on our behalf.
“But to us there is but one God, the Father ..... and one Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 8:6.
