THE KINGDOM MANDATE Study 7 Y'shua stated in many ways that the Father's kingdom would be established on earth. He taught the disciples to pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" The kingdom is to be realised on earth. Matthew 6:10 The New Jerusalem is to descend out of heaven and come down to earth. Heaven is not a permanent residence for the saints. For the Father Himself desires to dwell with His people. Revelation 21:1-3 He has always desired to tabernacle with His people and that will be fulfilled in the New Jerusalem. Y'shua said that the "meek" would inherit the earth. Matthew 5: 5

The Preparation For The Kingdom on Earth He has ordained a "new heavens and a new earth" wherein righteousness will dwell. 2 Peter 3:13 Due to the corruption that came in through the fall of Adam, this present earth is destined to destruction by fire. Peter says by the word of Yahweh, that "the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, both the earth and the works therein will be burned up" (2 Peter 3:10)

This new heaven and new earth will not have any element of anything that falls short of God's perfect righteousness and holiness. For this reason, Peter says, "Therefore beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless .. .. .. " 2 Peter 3:14 Only that which is without spot and blameless will be able to enter into that kingdom. The apostle John says by revelation, "But there shall by no means enter into it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, .. .. " Revelation 21:27

The writer of Hebrews also exhorting the believers, says, "See that you do not refuse Him Who speaks .. "Yet once more I shake, not only the earth, but also the heaven. Now this, 'Yet once more' indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain." Hebrews 12:25-27 The things which cannot be shaken are those things which are eternal, things/qualities that are built upon the foundation of the redemption which is in Y'shua the Messiah. They are the only things which will withstand the fire. Paul also says, "Now if anyone builds on this foundation (Y'shua the Messiah v.11) with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, each one's work will become clear; for the Day (of judgement) will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is." 1 Corinthians 3:12-13 (fire will destroy wood, hay and stubble) The writer of Hebrews goes on, "Therefore, seeing we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken. let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12:28-29 "Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord; looking carefully lest anyone should fall short of the grace of God; .. .. " Hebrews 12:14-15

The scriptures are teaching that there is a need to be diligent to obtain Yahweh's grace (i.e. His enabling power) to build into our lives the eternal qualities of His nature (gold); deliverance from every element of the flesh in our nature (silver); and the resplendent qualities of His glory produced by the trials and sufferings for His Name (precious stones); so that we do not fall short of the purity required to pass the test of the standard of His holiness, for He said, "Be holy as I am holy". 1 Peter 1:15-16 Y'shua said, "seek ye FIRST the kingdom of God and His righteousness". The establishment of His kingdom and the righteousness of it, needs to be the priority of our life, to be part of it. Matthew 6:33

Inheriting The Kingdom

Being part of the kingdom requires total commitment and was what Y'shua required of His disciples.

Y'shua very clearly told the disciples that their commitment to Him would cause discord in their relationships and that it would be a 'cross' to carry, saying to them, "He who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses His life for My sake will find it." Matthew 10:38,39

On the basis of that commitment He reassured them, "Do not fear, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom" Luke 12:32

It is the Father's 'good pleasure' to give the kingdom to those who do follow Y'shua all the way. Y'shua made this statement saying it is our Father's GOOD PLEASURE to give us the Kingdom, because it is HIS WILL to do so, even as He taught us to pray.

Having met the basic requirement, we need to pray as Y'shua taught us, "Your kingdom come"

To pray, in faith believing, that His Kingdom be manifest on this earth, and in that manifestation, His will to be done, as it is already in heaven. This is the exercise of our priestly ministry of intercession in the affairs of this earth, for them to be transformed to the will and purpose of the Father. It is authoritative prayer based upon the knowledge of our position of authority enthroned with Y'shua at the right hand of the Father in heaven. Ephesians 2: 6

It is the Father’s 'good pleasure' to give us the kingdom!

Daniel speaking prophetically of these end-times says, "Then the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey Him". (Daniel 7:27)

The kingdom shall be given to those who exercise their priestly mandate and by faith 'take' the kingdom.

Daniel also tells us how this is given to us: "But the saints of the most High shall receive (acquire, take) the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even forever and ever". (Daniel 7:18)

Paul exhorting the believers said to them, "we must through many tribulations (pressure, affliction) enter the kingdom of God" (Acts 14:22) There is a need to spiritually press into the kingdom. Matthew 11:12

Y'shua purchased the kingdom from the enemy with His blood as the payment for Adam's default. He had to become a man, a second Adam in order to do that legally. He fulfilled all that Adam failed to do to take dominion of the earth. But, He is the only one who has qualified to have dominion on the earth. Adam and his progeny have forfeited their inheritance in the earth.

The whole world lies in the power of the evil one, and all are under his dominion. No person has any future inheritance on this earth, for all the kingdoms of this world belong to him and by decree, as judgment upon him, this world together with all in it, is to be destroyed. Satan is under sentence, but as yet the execution of it is pending, waiting on what has been decreed.

By taking the sin of Adam's race and dying in their place, Y'shua redeemed Adam's progeny from receiving the same judgment as Satan, so that all who accept redemption in Him will be saved.

Redemption is a reality, but it only becomes valid when we take what was legally secured for us and make it our possession. We do that by appropriating His salvation into our lives to change our corrupt human nature into His divine nature and thereby overcome the inherent fleshly nature.

The inheritance of the kingdom is to those who overcome, firstly in the spiritual realm, remembering that the kingdom of God is within us (Luke 17:21). By so doing, shall overcome as Y'shua overcame, and qualify for the inheritance in the literal kingdom on earth.

There is to be a remnant birthed from within the kingdom of God, who will overcome and enter into their high calling as priests of the Melchizedek order, destined to rule and to reign with Him, a "manchild", who is to "rule all nations with a rod of iron" (Revelation 12: 5)

The Overcomers

The promise to the last age of believers from our risen Lord is -- "To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me in My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne" Revelation 3:21 This is the promise to those who would overcome the things of the flesh!

"For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith." 1 John 5: 4

Our old life was buried with Him, we have been raised with Him and enthroned with Him at the right hand of the Father. That is a spiritual reality and when we believe it and begin to exercise those facts as spiritual truth, it will become a reality in our lives.

"Behold, I give unto you power (authority) to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power (might, strength) of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you". Luke 10:19

Serpents and scorpions represent the powers of darkness manifesting in the form of demons and wicked spirits in the spiritual realms of this physical world, which attempt to keep us in bondage to the flesh.

Paul prayed that the believers would have a revelation of their spiritual inheritance so that they would come into their spiritual authority in Ephesians 1:17-21. Notice the points he made --

That He --

1. may give unto you the spirit of wisdom

2. revelation in the knowledge of Him

3. The eyes of your understanding being enlightened

4. that you may know what is the hope of His calling

5. what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints

6. And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe

7. according to the working of His mighty power, Which He wrought in our Messiah, when He raised Him from the dead, and set Him at His own right hand in the spiritual realm

8. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come

9. And has put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is His body, the fullness of Him that fills everything in all ways

10. and then further on it states in chapter two: And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places (the spiritual realms) in Y'shua our Messiah

We need to have the eyes of our understanding opened, to open our spirit to these realities in Y'shua. We need to ask for this with great desire. There IS an exceeding greatness of His power toward us who really believe. It is the same power that raised Y'shua from the dead and it RESIDES IN US!

The full and complete redemption that was lost in the Garden of Eden has not yet been restored and will only take place when the overcomers ascend to their throne rights and execute the judgment written upon the fallen kings and princes over this earth in the spiritual realm, the hosts of satanic darkness that rule this planet and still retain their positions of authority until they are dethroned. Psalm 149:6-9

"And he that overcomes, and keeps My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a ROD OF IRON" Revelation 2:26-27a.

"And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, NOW salvation (redemption), and strength, and the Kingdom of God, and the POWER (authority) of his Messiah have come: for the accuser (Serpent, Devourer, Dragon) of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before Yahweh day and night." Revelation 12:10

Notice it says - NOW Salvation has come. Salvation and the power/authority of Messiah are not realised UNTIL the saints take the kingdom. Y'shua procured it legally 2,000 years ago but it does not come into effect until Satan is cast down by the saints overcoming and dethroning him from his position in the spiritual realms. Y'shua sits at the right hand of the Father waiting until His enemies are made His footstool - it will be done by an overcoming people! Hebrews 10:13-14
