Wensleydale cheese
Wensleydale is a white, crumbly-textured cows milk cheese, originally from Wensleydale in Yorkshire, England. Very pleasant as a dessert cheese, it has a fresh, slightly sweet taste.
Blue Wensleydale is a rarer variety; some ewes milk is added to encourage the development of blue veins.
