Rista is made from mutton, beef and rarely from chicken. It is an important part of Kashmiri Wazwan. Meat is grinded on stone or through electronic grinders and then certain spices and eggs are mixed with it. Then meat is rolled by hand into balls which are put into hot water for half an hour. Then balls are put into gravy and boiled so that the flavour penetrates inside meat balls.
