Raengmyeon (Korean: 랭면 (North Korea), 냉면 (South Korea), also known as naeng-myeon, naengmyun, or naeng-myun, meaning "cold noodles") is a Korean tangy noodle dish of long and thin handmade noodles and sliced vegetables. This cold dish is unique in that it is often served with ice cubes floating in the broth. Although traditionally eaten whole, scissors are usually provided in restaurants to help cut the chewy noodles.
