Mirchi (Green peppers) Bhajji, are fried stuffed peppers.

Ingredients

Procedure

  1. Slit 5-10 of the peppers, preferably the longest and fattest.
  2. Mix salt and gram flour.
  3. Stuff the slit peppers with this mixture.
  4. Keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Mix all other dry ingredients.
  6. Heat oil.
  7. Dip each green pepper into this mixture gently to coat it.
  8. Deep fry on med. heat until golden brown.
  9. Drain on kitchen paper to remove excess oil.
  10. Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.

Preparation Time: 30 minutes

Makes 5-10 bhajjies, best served fresh.
