Mandoca is a Venezuelan snack. It is a deep-fried breaded pepper. It originated at the snack bar in the Ford factory in Pedernales during the 90's. The simple snack can be made with any types of peppers, although authenic mandocas use banana peppers.

Ingredients

  • 3 medium banana peppers
  • 113 grams (1/4 lb.) of flour
  • Oil (enough to fill the deep fryer)

Procedure

  1. Roll the pepper in the flour.
  2. Put in the deep fryer for about 2 minutes
