Carving knife and forks

Carving knife is the term for blades that resemble a chef's knife, but may be longer and more slender. It is useful for cutting large samples of poultry and other meats, often used in conjunction with a fork. It is important that any knives are kept sharp, as blunt knives require more force to use, actually increasing the likelihood of injury (cuts from a sharp knife heal more quickly than those from a blunt one). A knife sharpener can be used to keep knives sharp.
