Cane syrup is a pale liquid sweetener.

Cane syrup is produced by boiling down sugarcane juice. This is similar to the process used to make maple syrup. Unusually thick and dark cane syrup may be sold as molasses, though it is sweeter than true molasses.

Light treacle, corn syrup, and golden syrup are common substitutions.
