Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP) (Project Management) The total direct and indirect costs of accomplishing work completed to date. It usually refers either to a given time period or to a completed project phase, activity, or task. Some management techniques compare it to a budget to determine a variance or status. In other cases, when it is usually called earned value, ACWP may be used to determine interim payments to a contractor.
